Starting: Thursday 7th December Duration: 12 weeks (with an option of staying on for more workshops!) Time: 10am – 1.30pm Where: Northlight Mill, Brierfield. Join us for this exciting opportunity to a 12-week art project at Northlight Mill. Working with two artists, participants will research and explore what life was like in Lancashire’s industrial era for South Asian communities, and how this shaped Pendle and its residents today and use art as a vehicle to respond to this.
We will also include trips to Lancashire Archives, Northwest Film archives, Manchester Science and History Museum and a tour of Northlight Mill. If you would like to book on or ask any more questions, please contact Lauren Jackson 01282 222334 or email lauren@communityartsbyzk.co.uk This opportunity is open to ladies of a South Asian Heritage and is funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation & National Heritage Lottery Funding
