We have so many great courses for young people aged 16-30 to get involved in. Courses are free and give people the tools to build their confidence, find a job or start their own business.

Upcoming courses
Get Started with Arts and Podcasting
Location: Burnley
Taster Day: 12 Nov 25
Main Programmes: 17 Nov- 21 Nov 25
Ages: 16 - 25


On this course young people will be taken on a creative journey. They will have the opportunity to create their own podcasts, create amazing artwork, enhance their technical abilities and uplift their self-confidence and self-worth.


To be eligible for this programme young people need to be not in education, training or employment

Location: Lancashire and Cumbria
Main Programme: Next programmes start Jan 26
Ages: 16-25


Join Team, our 12-week personal development programme, for the chance to gain new skills, earn a qualification and meet like-minded people.




Young people will take part in a group community project, go on a fun-filled residential trip, and develop their English, maths, communication and teamwork skills.

Explore (Blackburn)

Location: Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zones 
Taster Day: 29 Oct
Main Programme: 4 Nov- 28 Nov 25
Ages: 16-25


On our Explore programme, young people will take part in fun, challenging activities to help grow their confidence while taking steps to achieve their goals.


They will gain key skills to support them in life and work, including teamwork, leadership and communication. We'll provide regular one-to-one support to help young people achieve a positive outcome.

We offer free funding through our Development Awards

Ages: 16-30


Our Development Awards are grants to help young people overcome financial barriers to training, employment or education. They can cover the cost of accredited course fees, tools or equipment, ID, uniform, and other barriers to achieving their goals.
The award amount varies based on individual needs and goals, but typically range from £175- £200.


To be eligible, young people must be:
  • Aged 16-30 and living in the UK
  • Studying less than 14 hours a week or not in compulsory education
  • Unemployed or working less than 16 hours a week.
