A brief introduction to the main drug categories: stimulants, depressants, hallucinogens, and opioids. Their effects: Impact on body and mind, including short-term and long-term effects. Harm reduction: Strategies to minimize drug use consequences, including safer practices, overdose prevention, and treatment access. Delivering brief interventions: How to assess drug use, provide feedback, and encourage behaviour change. Intro to Inspire A brief overview of Inspire services: Including counselling, group therapy, harm reduction, needle exchange, and aftercare. Our support: How we assist individuals seeking help for drug and alcohol problems through assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing support. Service user journey: What to expect from initial contact to the end of the treatment journey.
