We recently made you aware that after a review of our Roving Support Team service based in East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen, and an increased support offer from our joint working with VSCFE organisations, the drop-in clinics were no longer required in their current format. We launched a consultation on the 11th of June, and as such, we are now able to confirm that the service will step down, with its last working day on Friday (17th of July). After Friday, there will be no more roving drop-in clinics. Mental health support and advice can continue to be accessed via the Trust’s Initial Response Service (IRS) on 0800 0130 707.
Thank you to our affected colleagues who have worked in the roving clinics for the support they have provided to vulnerable service users over the past few years, working together successfully with some of our valued partner organisations, like yourselves, across East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen. We look forward to continuing working together with you to help those who need our joint support in the future.
