Volunteer Training

Check out what training we have running for volunteers

The Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale Council for Voluntary Service Volunteer Centre provides specialist training for those looking to start volunteering, but are not quite sure how to get involved, and for volunteers that are looking to develop skills and knowledge to help them with a voluntary position.

Most of the volunteer training courses, information sessions and workshops run by BPRCVS are free of charge to volunteers and the workforce of voluntary organisations. On occasion we also work alongside other accredited, recognisable training providers to deliver specific course content. Most of these courses are available completely free of charge to volunteer over the age of 19 and in receipt of some form of benefit. All courses that incur a small, nominal fee will be clearly advertised.

We run a range of free training throughout the year from two excellent centres with great facilities; The CVS Centre and Gannow Community Centre.
