Changes To Our Communications

To comply with GDPR we're making changes to the way we communicate by email

As most of you will know by now, GDPR comes into effect on 25th May 2018. As a result, to ensure compliance, we need to make a few changes to the way we communicate with our customers, clients, partners and stakeholders by email.

Staff at BPRCVS have been responsible for sending out communications and the sharing of information with their own individual mailing lists of contacts. This is going to change. GDPR requires that recipients have granted their permission through an opt-in procedure to receive communications from us.

Therefore we will be making the following changes:

The BPRCVS newsletter, currently distributed bi-weekly, will become a monthly newsletter and contain only information directly relating to BPRCVS

A brand new email newsletter called BPRCVS Info Share will be distributed weekly and will contain information from groups and organisations outside of BPRCVS

Tracey Noon, Janette Holden, or any other BPRCVS member of staff will no longer be able to send out emails sharing information. If you wish to continue, or start, receiving this information you will have to opt-in to the desired mailing list. More information will be released over the next couple of weeks explaining how to do this.

These two newsletters will be the only way to receive information from BPRCVS via email as of April 2018.
