Support And Signposting

A New Year, a new you? A new service for 2018

Do you need a helping hand?

Support And Signposting pairs you with a support advisor to help you to overcome barriers or complex needs that are preventing you to move forwards in your life. This brand new project from BPRCVS is starting in the New Year. The New Year is the perfect time to start being a new you. Follow through on your New Year's resolutions and make a positive change in your life.

Support And Signposting aims to help and support people to move forwards into paid employment, volunteering, training or education. However if you are not looking for work or training and are not interested in volunteering we can still help you.

If you’re interested in getting back into employment, education or training this is the perfect service for you. If you’re not ready yet for paid work or education and training let us support you into a voluntary position where you can rebuild confidence, develop skills and get a taste of working again, but without the commitments of paid employment.

Whatever your barriers or complex needs we can help overcome them and put some purpose into your life so that you have a reason to live a fulfilled life.

Support And Signposting starts on Friday 12th January 2018 and is a completely free drop-in service every Friday between 1pm and 3pm at Gannow Community Centre, Adamson Street, Burnley, BB12 6RB. No appointments are necessary just drop-in and speak to one of our expert advisors.

Support And Signposting is a relaxed service in a comfortable lounge setting. We even give you free tea, coffee and biscuits. So come on round and have a free brew and a no obligation chat with one of our expert advisors.

We can help people to overcome barriers such as housing issues, benefits advice, debt advice and management, health and wellbeing, welfare, alcohol and substance misuse, family problems, disability support, CV writing, applications and cover letters, interview skills, and so much more. In fact there's nothing that we either can't support directly or, at the very least, signpost you to the most appropriate service in your local area.

Everyone is welcome. No barrier or complex need is too big to overcome. Let us help you smash down the barriers in your life and start moving forward. The BPRCVS expert advisors will create a custom, personalised plan with you which will help to address your situation.
